It’s taken me ages to post this. Back on the 17th March I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Sarah from Tea With Sarah. Thank you!
If you don’t know what the Liebster Award is, basically, the award is meant to showcase up and coming bloggers from all over the internet.
So let’s get started! This is the first part of my questions from Sarah.
Who is your style icon? Why?
I find it difficult to pick a style icon as my personal style varies from day to day. There are certainly women (and wardrobes) I admire but I couldn’t pick just one woman and say she’s my style icon. I love:
Hayley Atwell and her wardrobe(s) – in real life, Agent Carter, Conviction
Meghan Markle – her casual wardrobe IRL and her smarter wardrobe from Suits
Emma Watson – IRL
It seems as if I just like a good suit…
Did you have any New Year’s resolutions for 2018? What were they and did you keep them?
No – I never do New Year’s resolutions. The closest I came this year was this blog – and this is my 3rd post…
How would you say blogging has impacted/changed your life or lifestyle?
At the moment I am enjoying the community aspect of blogging on Twitter and by commenting on some fab posts. I always say to myself that I don’t enjoy writing but whenever I sit down with a pen and paper (I write all these by hand first) and get going, I do genuinely enjoy it and that in itself has been a surprising change.
What is your favourite film? Briefly describe the plotline for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
I’m noticing a pattern here… I may or may not be indecisive (geddit?)
I couldn’t pick a favourite film so I’ll list a few of my favourites:
Harry Potter -any or all of them, 80’s teen movies such as The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Mannequin. I also love random comedies such as Man of the House.
Seriously if you like a cheesy movie and like Tommy Lee Jones in his natural state (grumpy), give this a chance!
How would you like your blog to progress in the next year?
I would like to still be uploading posts. That’s it.
What is your favourite food? Can you advise a great recipe for us to make it and give it a try?
Macaroni Cheese and Garlic Bread is my all time favourite food.
I’ve made Macaroni Cheese from scratch for years and therefore don’t have a precise recipe. I generally just put a knob of butter into a pan, melt it, throw in some flour and mix. Add some milk gradually and mix until you have a smooth sauce, then melt your cheese in and add your pasta! Voila!
P.S. Whenever I think about garlic bread, which is a lot, I think about this:
Anyhoo, that’s part 1, part 2 – featuring the last few questions and my nominations!
